Artist's Comments

This is one of my best works ever. It will be a long time before I can do something to surpass this one. My dark wolf...

Nice work ^^ You've got a ton of potential, this piece is great. The 3/4 view on the face looks so good, and he looks like a neat character :)

It was a fun character I played in Werewolf. Been years since I have seriously drawn anything. I have doubts I could do that well again... unless I took up drawing as an occupation. It is very very hit or miss for me. Either it looks awesome... or it's crap.

Yet thank you, and I look forward to your awesome stuff. :)

You obviously have a good grasp of the male anatomy, which I completely envy you for. I find drawing the male form to be practically impossible. You've done it really well, though. The face looks good, and even the hands turned out well! Most artists, myself included, will tell you that hands are the bane of their existence! But yours look very good already! And then there's the glint on the sword. I think that shows that you pay attention to detail. And it's nicely rendered to boot!

Yes, I say you should post more of your work. Most of the time, we are our own worst critics, and it isn't ever nearly so bad as you'd thought it was. :)

Hey! You definitely got something going on in there! I especially like the sword. Your lines are clean and seem very well thought out.

And it won't take you a long time to surpass this drawing in quality, just keep working at it. :O

My problem more is that I don't have time for art. I was never a very serious artist in the first place. I had one flurry of practice and skill... and I made this at the end of it all. Then I kinda stopped. Never really did it again. This piece is almost 15 years old. So at the very least I am a decade out of practice. Maybe someday, but it seems a bit unlikely. I turn more to the eye of a collector these days, and like to see the other great art there can be on this site. Makes one humble as you look about!
